How it Works

Explore the connection between our online student content and the Curriculum Book for facilitators.

NoticeAbility courses feature a 'blended delivery'. Simply put, this approach combines traditional classroom experiences with a digital delivery of course content (think online learning). The rationale behind this is twofold. First, delivering instruction online enables NoticeAbility to teach students using multiple modalities which resonate with dyslexic learners (video, audio, graphic and pictorial imagery). Second, this elevates the need for you, the teacher/parent/tutor, to become a content specialist. Instead, your role is to facilitate the in-person classroom component and scaffold students as they engage in experiential, project based learning.*

We have shared examples of our blended delivery below. The section marked 'Student View' allows you to explore the student-facing online learning component. This is how your students will learn about entrepreneurship, engineering, architecture, and the arts. The section section marked 'Teacher Materials', provides you with the tools (lesson plans, teacher scripts, worksheet, etc) that you will use as a course instructor. The two components, compare side by side, allow you to see the full picture of the blended delivery.

*In response to COVID-19, NoticeAbility has developed a 'Remote Learning' delivery of our curricula. Please return to our Teachable landing page to learn more about these options.
